What is the point of loading images to 1P?

Imagine this ... You are in Columbia. Two hours up the Amazon River. No cell or wifi. The Columbia coast guard pulls you over and requests your passport.

No problem I have 1P on my iPhone which has my Passport and all critical documents stored inside.

EXCEPT the images are NOT AVAILABLE!!!

Thanks for nothing!

BTW: Absolutely true story. Fortunately I had a photo copy on mine another way and they didn't push it with not having my wifes.

    I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Passports always scare me. I'm not a frequent out of country traveler, so I tend to overdo it and have multiple copies digitally and otherwise. I'm going to share your experience with the team for further consideration as to downloads. I'm all for it, and I travel domestically a large portion of the time in areas without cell service, too.
