A password generator
I really can't understand why your app lacks the most basic and important feature, a password generator, when your browser extension has it. I really don't know what you were thinking. Among all the password managers on the market, only yours is so peculiar. Every time I want to generate just one password, if I'm on a computer, I could go to your password generator website to generate one, but it's very inconvenient. There's also no such feature in the Android app, I have to create a temporary item, then create a new password in the password field, and then copy it, and finally delete the temporary item. I really can't understand.

Hello @biihbiia! 👋
Thanks for the feedback! As you noted, you can find the password generator inside of the 1Password app when creating or editing a new item: Use the password generator to change and strengthen your passwords
Can you tell me a little more about a situation where you'd like to generate a password using 1Password but not save that password in 1Password? Do you memorize that password or store it somewhere else?
I look forward to hearing from you.

Dave, I'll chime in albeit late. While I can't name specific instances, a user may want/need to generate a password outside of the built-in "create/update-and-save-a-login" workflow of 1Password. Perhaps the most frequent of these is when 1Password does not recognize the website and enter that workflow yet the user wants to establish new credentials there. I recall that I've also encountered password reset pages where 1Password doesn't enter the standard create/update workflow (possibly because the new password field is the only field on the page or it opens in a new browser window and is not seen by 1Password?) Maybe this preference of the OP and me represents the .01% of the user base, but I agree with the OP that it seems not to be industry standard when looking at other password managers. (I come from Roboform, where a password generator was always available directly.)

Thank you for the detailed reply! In a scenario where 1Password isn't suggesting a password right on the webpage, you can generate a new password by creating or editing an item in the 1Password for Android app: Create and edit items
Tapping on the password field will bring up the password generator:
This flow allows you to generate a password and then save it in 1Password all in one shot.
