Feature Request - Quick disable
Hi there.
I would like to have an option to quickly disable 1P for a few seconds or minutes. Sometimes I need to fill out some fields by hand and cannot use the things 1P is suggesting. E.g. out Deutsche Post uses self searching fields you have to start but then you have to make a choice. In these cases it is very annoying to ignore 1P in every field.
This is why I would like to have the option to disable 1P on one site for a short time ...

Hello @Thundersnake! 👋
Thank you for the question! You can hide 1Password on a certain page by right-clicking on the page and then clicking 1Password - Password Manager > Hide on this page.
1Password won't interact with the page in question until you deselect that option or restart your browser.
I hope that helps! 🙂

I too would like a quick disable. Is there now, or in the future, a HOTKEY that can be setup or used to quickly shut it off instead of doing the right click menu option selection?
Thank you.0 -
I would like to 'very quickly' be able to have the 'Hide on this page" checked off. Is it possible to have a Hotkey to do this? I'm aware of the right mouse click, scroll down to 1Pass, slide over to hide and select, but a hotkey would be great.

Hello @PJW, thanks for writing in. I appreciate the additional details.
While I can't make any promises, I've shared your feedback with our Product team for further consideration for adding a keyboard shortcut to quickly toggle the "Hide on this page" option from the 1Password extension.
I hope that helps. Let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with.

Thanks for taking a look at it. Keys like 1, (for password 1) would be slick to toggle the hide feature.
Have a great week.0 -
Just went into another situation. I wanted to add a Yubikey to a account, but 1P was getting in the way all the time. To disable on the page wasn't successfull, as the site name changes when I click on "add"... had to disable the extension.

Thanks for the reply. If you need to use a security key on a website when 1Password offers to sign in with a passkey, click the the security key icon button to use your security key:
If that doesn't work on a certain website then can you share the website address and which browser you're using? Let me know if you're seeing a different prompt or if I misunderstood.

Yes, and I have to do it again and again, especially when adding more than one key.
Why not adding a simple disable button between these two elements?

Thank you for the feedback. You can also press the
esc
key on your keyboard to dismiss the passkey prompt and use your security key. Would that work better for you?-Dave
