Sharing a Login from a Families account to an Individual account
I have a 1Password for Families account. The person I'm helping has a 1Password Individual account. She was struggling to create an account login so I created one for her in my one 1Password vault then used the share feature to text her a link to the login I created for her. (I also tried email, but experienced the same problem.) My intent in sharing was that she could then just import it into her own 1Password vault and then I could delete it from mine.
When she taps the link I sent her from Messages on her iPhone in Safari, she gets this message that says "Try 1Password" which when tapped, takes her to a place to subscribe but there's no mention of logging in for when you already have an account.
If I do the same thing from the link I sent her in Messages in Safari on MY iPhone I get this message that says, "Save in 1Password." This is the message I had intended for her to see.
What can I instruct her to do on her end so she sees the same "Save in 1Password" button? She is over 70 and trying to instruct over the phone how to copy and paste each and every item into a field in her 1Password will be a huge chore for her and it feels unnecessary. Why can she not import the item the same way I can?
If she needs to enable the 1Password browser extension for iOS Safari that too is a chore for seniors and can get very confusing. If that's the only way to make iOS Safari detect that 1Password is presently installed and able to import items then there should be a step by step tutorial with images located beneath the section called "View a shared item" on this page: https://support.1password.com/share-items/#share-an-item
Presently there is only this: https://1password.com/downloads/browser-extension/#browsers that tries to explain what a browser extension is but it only adds to the confusion while viewing this on an iPhone in Safari.
What am I missing? Is there an easier way to share a login from my vault to someone else's vault via iMessage without the need to copy and paste each field manually? Since this is a one-time assist I am not concerned with the item syncing with my vault since I intend to delete it after I've made sure she has it imported to her own vault. Am I the only one with this need on a regular basis while teaching seniors about technology?
1Password Version: 1Password 8.10.31
Extension Version: 2.21.0
OS Version: iOS
Browser: Safari

Does she/they have the 1Password application installed and or 1Password in the browser? She might also not be using Safari? I'd recommend installing 1Password for Safari. 1Password for Safari is part of the mobile application.

No, there not a direct share option. The item sharing link is the best path forward that I can envision.

We were doing this between our two iPhones both running the same OS version and both of us using 1Password for iOS. Does she need to have the 1Password iOS browser extension enabled on her iPhone for the button to change from Try 1Password to Save in 1Password?

Yes, most likely 1Password for Safari. Not 1Password autofill. 1Password for Safari essentially links back to the 1Password application. Without it being on, Safari would not have any direct knowledge of the app existing.
Try it with 1Password for Safari enabled. If you continue to have any troubles it may be helpful to have you talk with the technical team.
