Limit autofill to index only? (limit autofill based on PAGE NOT SUBDOMAIN)

Hello,

Is there any way for me to filter where I get login suggestions by web PAGE? I found the following article about preventing suggestions on sub-domains, but that's not really helping me here:
https://support.1password.com/autofill-behavior/

The problem I'm having is that the login form for the service I'm using is on the index (e.g. https://foo.bar.com/ ) but then every single page within it (e.g. https://foo.bar.com/foo/baz ) it's continuing to make suggestions, but there's no login fields beyond the index.
It's doing it on fields that it knows (e.g. First Name, Last Name, Zipcode), which is understandable, but these fields are used HEAVILY throughout the system, and I don't want or need it for just this particular site.

So is there any way to limit the autofill to JUST "https://foo.bar.com" and none of its subsequent pages beyond that?
Again, this is not subdomain issue, it's a PAGE issue.
I tried setting it to "Only fill on this exact domain" but it still does it on subsequent pages within the matching domain which is the problem.

  • Hello @monodemono, thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry about the trouble you're running into with 1Password.

It is currently not possible to limit a Login item for a domain's subject path (www.example.com/subject-path). However, a lot of folks have been asking for this feature request. I've shared your feedback with our product team in support of this.

In the meantime, you can hide 1Password on a specific page. Here's how:

    1. Right-click anywhere on the web page.
    2. Select "1Password - Password Manager", then choose "Hide on this page".

This option will only prevent 1Password from offering to autofill on a web page for the duration of your browsing session. Once your browser is closed and reopened, you will need to follow the above steps again to prevent 1Password from offering to autofill on this web page again.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Unfortunately the hide on this page will not help, because it's a dynamically generated page, it's almost never the same page twice (not just in content but in URL). Thank you for the response. Have a nice day.
