Hi @miguelmanalo - I'm sorry to hear about this. We're currently aware of an issue where some users will see this banner even if they've previously migrated their data at some point in the past. The development team are working on a fix and keeping 1Password up to date will be the best way to ensure that you receive the fix as soon as it's released.

After update to 8.10.33, an undismissable prompt to migrate 1Password 7 data apeared.
How can I get rid of it?

Apologies for the trouble.
As part of the recent update to 1Password 8 for Mac, we introduced a new way for users to migrate their standalone 1Password 7 data to their 1Password account.
We are aware that this prompt is being incorrectly displayed to some users who have previously already migrated their data. If all of your data is already in 1Password 8, you can disregard the message to migrate your data.
While there isn't a way to dismiss the banner at the moment, our developers are looking to provide a fix for this soon.

Well, it's a bit difficult to disregard a message that cannot be dismissed and furthermore is pinned to the top of the list so it takes up space and cannot even be scrolled away. Anyway, thanks for the info and looking forward to a fix.

I'm sorry again for the inconvenience. Our developers are currently testing a fix in the beta version of 1Password for Mac. If you'd like to get your hands on the fix quicker then you can switch to the beta version using this guide: Use 1Password beta releases
Once testing of the fix is complete, it'll be included in the stable version as soon as possible.

Well, I've been annoyed by this for a few weeks, but now apparently a member of my family actually clicked it, and now has all duplicated entries, some old and some new. We had truly migrated about a year ago.
So this is wonderful.

Hi @panhandler - I'm sorry to hear about this. Any items migrated via this prompt should have been placed in their own vault. Do you see a vault named
Imported default
in the sidebar of 1Password for Mac? I'd recommend making a quick check to see whether any new non-migrated items have been saved there by mistake since the migration took place, then deleting the items from within that vault.0 -
Make me a "plus 1" on this annoying issue. But it also pops up occasionally on the opening splash screen and the only way to get rid of it without accepting the migration option is to quit 1Password. Given that I access several corporate 1Password accounts this seems quite dangerous and I'd have thought it should be urgently fixed.

I'm sorry for the impact on your workflow. A fix is currently available in the beta version: Use 1Password beta releases
Once beta testing has verified that there are no issues, the fix will be released to the stable version of 1Password as soon as possible.

I have just downloaded version 8 on my iMac and opened an account. I have 1Password 7 on my iPhone and iPad and signed in. 1Password migrated my data from 1Password 7 to my account and 1Password 8 but now when I go to "All Items" there is the following text at the top with a download arrow:
"Easily migrate your data
Let's get your data moved from 1Password 7 to 1Password 8"
How do I get rid of it? I down't want to click it and get all my passwords duplicated.1Password Version: Mac 8.10.33

You're experiencing a bug the team is looking to resolve. It is in part due to a recently introduced new import workflow. At present it is not possible to dismiss the message. If you're up for using a beta the resolution is already present there.

I've merged a few topics. Useful if you'd like to see earlier comments on the matter. :)

Wow. Not fixed in the newest version.
Surprising.

The resolution is still within the beta at this time. It's an option if you'd like to use it. Use 1Password beta releases
