Empty Tray Menu

Recently I've noticed that the menu on the 1Password Tray Icon does not have any menu items anymore. It used to work just fine, but unfortunately I can't tell at which version exactly it broke. If I had to guess it broke within the last 1-2 month.

I only ever use that menu in case I missed a confirmation popup from the SSH agent. It will show the red notification badge on the icon, but the menu is still empty, causing the popup to be inaccessible. Any other applications tray menu still works like it should (e.g. Slack, Telegram, Spotify..). For reasons unrelated to this issue I reinstalled my system recently, but that also didn't change anything about this issue.

Oof, I never noticed this setting. Changing it back to "show a menu" fixed the issue.

  • Hi @gigo123,

It's great to hear that you were able to resolve things by adjusting the "Click the icon to" setting to "Show a menu". Thank you for sharing that here in case others encounter the same issue.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with!
