Remove 2nd family user login from Chrome (on Mac)

My husband isn't able to manage for himself any longer. I added his secret key and pw to my login info on Chrome by clicking on the down arrow and choosing: add new user to "Jones Family." Now I would like remove the option to log into his account from my Chrome browser. I don't see a way to do that. Obviously, I could remove him from our family account. However, I only want to remove his 1PW login info from this particular Chrome browser. I have my fingers crossed I'm missing something. I usually am. Thank you!

The best method would likely be to clear the browser history to just prior to your adding his account. However, I am not entirely sure that is what's needed here. Can you expand on the portion about removing the option to login as him? Or are you saying you saved his login information inside 1Password for ease of access.

I stumbled into an answer to my own question. In my 1pw app, the url I had saved was [myaccountname].1password.com. Makes sense. But I had no option for removing the second login option I had added to my account.

However, when I change the url to https://start.1password.com/signin?l=en, I now have an "edit" button. Everything else looks exactly the same. I can choose either login as before or I now have the option to remove one or or the other or both. Problem solved!

  • Thanks for updating us @scacl I appreciate it. Have a great weekend.
