I also have this issue on my Pixel 8 Pro with Android 14 and the Chrome and Vivaldi browsers.

I'll use the Target.com website and app as an example.

When pressing the "Use passkey instead" button on the login page for target.com, a Google-branded "No passkeys available" message appears. It does not seem to recognize 1Password.

I had better luck with the Target app for Android, which didn't work the first time I tried it but did the second time. In both cases, the one-password passkey was shown.

It's also worth mentioning that using passkeys for the Target.com website on my iPhone in the Safari browser works perfectly.

The bulk of the issue seems to be with Browsers and Android 14.

  • Hello @Anzenna! 👋

I'm sorry that you're unable to save or sign in with a passkey on your Android device. Chrome doesn't support third-party passkey managers like 1Password by default on Android. However you can enable support manually by turning on specific Chrome flags. Can you try these steps: https://1password.community/discussion/comment/711037/#Comment_711037

Let me know if that helps. 🙂

Thank you @Dave_1P ! That worked. Both for Chrome and for Vivaldi which uses chromium under the hood. You're a hero!

  • On behalf of Dave, you're welcome. Enjoy!
