Custom Groups not assigning Vaults to users

I seem to be having an issue where I've made a custom group and have assigned vaults to them but when i assign the group to my staff, they do not inherit the vaults. I thought by creating a group, assigning vaults to that group and then assigning that group to my users would give them access to a group of vaults with the permissions we gave them. Is this not how it works?

I believe we are using 1Password for Business

    It may be best to have you reach out to my colleagues in email support where we can gather things such as vault ID's and discuss account details in a more private setting unlike the forum.
