bug on 1Password for Mac 8.10.34 (81034040) on macOS 15.0 Beta (24A5264n)

hi all. ive noticed a bug on 1Password for Mac 8.10.34 (81034040) on macOS 15.0 Beta (24A5264n) where 1password doesn't boot up with the mac even though i have start at login checked in 1password's settings. this only started happening as soon as i upgraded from macOS 14.5 (23F79), which makes me think it has something to do with how the new macOS beta is interacting with 1Password. thought i'd report it here so that when macOS 15 rolls out to the public come this fall the bug will hopefully be fixed by then. thanks so much and have a lovely day or night!

  • Relocating this to our beta forum as it deals with a beta OS.

Thanks for the report. I'll get it before the team. That said, it is very early in the beta. Let us know how it goes and if a new beta resolves the issue.

Can I clarify if you're able to open 1Password at all?

no problem! sorry i didnt know it belongs here, thanks for moving it :). ill let you know when the next macOS 15 beta comes out if it fixes the issue for sure.

  • No worries at all. We had some discussion about where it should reside anyway. ;) As a general rule, when I ran the betas, I always used the 1Password beta to help ensure I was always using the version that had the new fixes and enhancements to help ensure compatibility. It might be worth considering on your end. It's not required, but for me, it always made life easier.

Personally, I'm doing the public beta this year. I'm looking for more of a low-maintenance summer.
