1Password CLI ARM version does not retrieve public key field in a SSH Key

Hi, I just got around to installing the latest 1Password CLI on my Windows WSL instance and 2 of my 4 Raspberry PI servers that are used for various things.

I'm seeing a difference between the AMD and ARM versions of the 1Password CLI where "op item get 'ssh-key-name'" retrieves the public key, fingerprint, private key, key type and url fields in the AMD version and only retrieves the private key and url fields in the ARM version.

Does 1Password plan on upgrading/improving the ARM version of the 1Password CLI and keeping it in sync with the AMD version? Is there an ETA for when this will happen?

I cannot use 1Password CLI until this issue is resolved since I extensively use my Raspberry PI devices for various server components that I self-host and utilize on an almost daily basis.

1Password CLI versions installed -
Windows WSL Install of AMD version - 2.29.0
Raspberry PI Install of ARM version - 2.0.0

Please reach out if you have any questions or require more information for my use case.

  • Hey there,

It looks like this issue is related to the version of the CLI you're running on the Raspberry Pi. The public key, fingerprint and key type fields of an SSH key started to be returned with op item get in version 2.3.0 of the CLI. Updating to the latest version should fix the problem.

Let me know if that helps or if you run into any issues.

    Thanks!

Hi @michael.c_1P, that worked smoothly. My bad for not looking hard enough for the correct ARM version for the Raspberry Pi.

    Thank you so much!
