Unable to sign in and turn off 2FA
Ultimately, I want to remove 2FA from my account. However, because I did not follow through on proper 2FA set up (I think), I'm in a no man's land. Background: I chose to enable 2FA but when I did, I did not follow through on getting a 2FA app. Now when I sign in on my Windows desktop I'm asked for a 2FA code, which I do not have and cannot get. I can go no further. On my Samsung android, I can bypass the 2FA but because I did , I can;t get to all my Profile info.. (It seems). I believe I need full Profile access to turn off/manage 2FA. How am I to proceed? Will going through the Recovery process give me full access to turn off 2FA? (I understand that 2FA remains on my 1Password account even when I go through the Recovery process. ) Help, please.

To enable 2FA you must verify the 2FA code that is generated by the app you used. You could not enable the feature without doing this. Please consider you might have used a different or app other than what is mentioned.
My best recommendation would be to talk with our email support team to help you navigate this situation.
