URL globally switch off "open and fill"

I have no default browser, so I can never use the "open and fill" functionality for URLs. Is there a way to switch that off globally, and make it so that a click only copies the URL?

    Do you have a browser chooser installed? If so, you should be prompted. This is Choosy on macOS as my default. Would that work for you?
