Switch off auto login
How do I switch off the auto-login feature on 1Password?
When I visit a website and select the username from my 1Password app, it auto-completes the password and attempts to log me in. This causes issues when a website has a robot checkbox or Google security check.
Any ideas how I disable this feature in 1Password?

Hi @mikecottam! You can follow the steps below to disable this feature:
- Open your browser, right-click the 1Password icon in the toolbar, and choose Settings.
- Click the Autofill & save section.
- Disable the option to Sign in automatically after autofill.

@1P_Gem The option "Sign in automatically after autofill" cannot be modified if the option "Offer to fill and save passwords" is not enabled (see screenshot below). Apparently, the option "Sign in automatically after autofill" is enabled by default if it has never been modified, but the UI does not reflect that state — this is a bug in the (Chrome) extension (v
2.25.1
). Apparently, if I temporarily enable the option "Offer to fill and save passwords" in order to be able to disable "Sign in automatically after autofill", and then disable "Offer to fill and save passwords" again, the setting state seems to be correctly recognized — but I haven't restarted my browser yet to see if it persists. Please make a note to the development team to investigate this behavior.0 -
