Autosign in and formstack

We are experiencing an issue with using 1Password to auto-login to Formstack, specifically at https://admin.formstack.com/login.

Formstack's login process involves two stages:

First, you are prompted to enter your email address and then click "Next."
On the second page, you are prompted to enter your password and then click "Login."

When 1Password fills out the email address, the page updates, and 1Password also automatically fills out the password field. However, the page then remains static, and the login button is disabled.

If you manually type in your email address and click "Next," and then use 1Password to fill the password, it will auto-login as expected.

It seems there might be some validation to prevent bots from logging in. Note that when you first arrive at the page, the "Next" button is disabled until you enter an email address.
Additionally, there is an error message in the console when attempting to use 1Password for auto-login:

Any insights or solutions to this issue would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hello @tvisconti, thank you for writing in. I'm sorry about the issue you're running into on Formstack, and I appreciate the information you shared.

I've done some testing on my end and have been able to recreate the same behaviour. I created an issue for our development team for further investigation and added you as an affected user.

In the meantime, I suggest using the 1Password extension pop-over to drag and drop the email first and then using Autofill. I realize this may not be ideal, and apologize for the inconvenience.

Let me know if you have any questions.
