Username stripped out and cannot find History
I have a login that for some reason has had its Username stripped out. There's no way I edited this entry and removed it so I'm unsure how it's happened. In any case, I wanted to look into the item's history to see what it was and re-instate it, but I cannot find the history option anywhere?? (It is not where the help article says it is - perhaps the article is old? Perhaps the new method is so un-intuitive I cannot find it?)

I'd suggest looking at 👀 💾 View and restore previous versions of items If you find it you can copy out the username and or restore the item. I would recommend caution to ensure you don't restore an older password and break the login. I'd most likely just copy out the username if it were me and then add it back to the current login.

Please see the item history on 1Password.com. The username is not a password filed and would not be recorded like a password would. You should not see a dropdown menu for the username.
View and restore previous versions of items
To restore a previous version of an item on 1Password.com:
Open the vault that contains the item you want to restore to a previous version.
Select the item, then click View Item History
Click View next to one of the entries to see the contents of that version of the item.
Click Restore.0 -
Thanks! I appreciate the screen shot - could never have found it without that.
Talk about hiding a button! Why would this not be in the three dot menu?0 -
I'm not sure on the intention. Sorry about that. I am glad you found what you need.
