BlackBaud Hosting
Hi... I'm having a heck of a time setting up ID/PW for the Maine Maritime Museum. Their website is http://www.MaineMaritimeMuseum.org When I go there and try to register it ends up getting into their hosting company. When I pick my email ID and use the 1Password suggested PW it gets saved as https://3306a.blackbaudhosting.com . Unfortunately this doesn't help, as I cannot go to that URL to log into Maine Maritime again. It's disconnected from MMM. How to handle this in 1Password?
Second issue with this. That website requires a complicated PW and it DOES require special characters, but it does not allow certain special characters (such as . or _ for example). When I have 1Password generate a PW for me inevitably it doesn't work... So I keep asking it to generate one and it never seems to hit one that works. I ended up taking a PW that I make up and editing it until I get a combination with workable special characters. Then it's not saved in 1Password automatically - I have to manually do it. Net is lots of manual handling on this, kind of pain and hard to get it right. Is there anything that can be done to help this?
Thanks,
Geoff Meissner

Hi @GeoffMeissner, thanks for reaching out!
I'm sorry that you're experiencing trouble filling on the Maine Maritime Museum website. Can you clarify which page you're visiting when attempting to sign in to your Maine Maritime Museum account after registering? Are you not able to select your suggested Login item and sign in successfully when you visit the Blackbaud hosting page for the Maine Maritime Museum and click "Sign in" at the top of the page?

Was it giving you an error message after submitting the form when the password included
.
or_
? If so, did the message specify that these special characters were a problem?I look forward to hearing from you!
