Feature Request - Add Phonetic Alphabet to Large Type (useful when spelling words)

I find myself often using 1Password when I call customer service. I have my data there and it is tremendously useful. I also happen to have an "uncommon" and long name for English-speaking countries and spelling it on the phone is often challenging.

I thought that 1Password could help in this case by showing the corresponding Phonetic Alphabet letter in the "Large Type" view - e.g., below the number indicating the order of each letter. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO_phonetic_alphabet

Something like this:

    @capufreeska

    Thanks for making the suggestion. I'll get this before the team for consideration. I'm unable to make any promises on when/if this would become possible.

    Thank you for considering my request, @ag_tommy ! I appreciate it.

  • You're most welcome.

    I memorized the alphabet once upon a time. Now, the memories are growing a slight bit rusty. I need to think about the desired word when some oddball characters are used. When using it (phonetic alphabet), I have found that the person on the other end does not catch the word you are using and sends another word back. In the end, I drop mine and use whatever they use. I wish there was one standard taught to everyone. That's a subject for another day. :) Thanks for sharing.
