Remote console of server seems to be treated as dangerous after installing 1Password in browser
The remote console of server will be blocked sometime after 1Password being installed.
However, if tunning safty setting of browser ( Safe Browsing: "No protection"), the console can work normally again.
Why would 1P make the remote console dangerous to the borwser?
1Password Version: 2.25.1

Hi @Chien, thank you for reaching out!
Can you tell me a bit more about the situation? Is this issue occurring in all browsers where you have the 1Password extension installed, or just Chrome? Are you able to share how you're accessing the remote console?
Additionally, if you're seeing any error messages, can you share a screenshot of them? Be sure to mask or remove any sensitive information, as this is a public forum, but please include the full screen in the image.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi David,
Good day, thanks for the respond.
- We've tried on Chrome and firefox, both of them encountered this symptom.
- I lunched the remote console in the web GUI of server BMC.
- If 1P is installed, the console will end in black screen with a window "Login failed; Certificate is not accepted for the viewer."; Looking at the browser console, it appears that 1Password maybe blocking the communication between the certificate popup and the main window. We also noticed that as long as the protection of Safe Browsing is off, the console can work normally again.

Thanks for sharing those details!
Can you try switching over to the beta release of the 1Password extension in Chrome and let me know if the behaviour persists?
If the behaviour does persist, can you reproduce it and share the browser console log with us, so that we can take a closer look? Please attach the file to an email message addressed to

with a link to this thread. After sending the email, you’ll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I’ll be able to locate your message and make sure it’s gotten to the right place.-David

Hi David,
I appreciate your support, the beta verison works well so far!
May I know what make the difference?
Many thanks!0 -
It's great to hear that things are working when using the beta version of the 1Password extension!
It seems that the behaviour is related to a few other issues that have recently been addressed. Some recent adjustments made to how the passkey feature was interacting with pages appears to have resolved things.
Let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with!
