1Password Browser extension no longer works with ADP WFN
Sometime in the last few days, either 1password or ADP made a change where the browser extension (Mac: Chrome, Brave, Safari, Firefox) no longer pre-fills or even shows up in the browser in the login areas. Even the overall mac extension in the toolbar doesn't prefill. I have to manually copy the user name and then the password and enter it into the ADP login screens: The login is accessed via https://workforcenow.adp.com and resolves (at least for me) to: https://online.adp.com/signin/v1/?APPID=WFNPortal&productId=80e309c3-7085-bae1-e053-3505430b5495&returnURL=https://workforcenow.adp.com/&callingAppId=WFN
1Password Version: 8.10.34
Extension Version: 2.25.1
OS Version: MacOS 14.5
Browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox

I appreciate you taking the time to report this. The ADP login page utilizes a structure referred to as a Shadow DOM, which presents additional challenges for autofill functionality. While the team had previously implemented some improvements that allowed 1Password to fill on Shadow DOM pages, it was temporarily pulled back in order to resolve some issues. I'm happy to inform you that the fix has recently been reintroduced and is currently being tested in the beta version of 1Password in the browser. If you're interested, you can learn how to install the beta in our article on how to:
If you prefer to remain with the current stable Production version of 1Password in the browser, while I don't have a timeline to share as to when the fix will make its way there, I recommend keeping 1Password up to date so that you can receive any improvements as soon as they are available:
Let me know if you have any questions moving forward, and I'd be glad to assist you further.
