I used 1password to copy my Creditcard number by tapping the number entry. After that I did the same with the number of my passport. Both entries are gone now.
I didn't try that with the Windows App because I'm anxious that more entries will be deleted.
I don't know wether entries are lost in the last days/weeks.

Edit:
I restored my passport and the credit card from the archive now, but I definetly didn't moves these items to the archive. I tapped only one entry in each item, to copy the information

  • Hello @Dieter59! 👋

    I'm happy to hear that you were able to find the items in the Archive and restore them. Have you seen the issue happen again since restoring the items from the Archive?

    I look forward to hearing from you.

    I tested it again and tried to make exactly the same steps I did before (iPad with split view, Safari and 1pw) but the items didn't disapear.

    I was in alarm, because something like that didn't happen in more than 10 years I'm using 1pw .
    Is there any possibility to make a local backup of the cloud vault?

    Best regards
    Dieter

    @Dieter59

    1Password will only move or modify items after a direct action from you. If you do notice that the issue happens again then please send an email to support+forum@1Password.com before you restore the item from the Archive and the team can ask for more details in order to investigate further on what might be happening.

    Each device where you're using the 1Password app contains a local copy of your data. Your data is also encrypted and backed up to your 1Password account in the cloud. If you accidentally delete an item you can always restore it from your 1Password account on 1Password.com:

    @Dieter59, note that you can optionally export your 1Password data (see here). Personally, I periodically export my 1Password data to an encrypted disk image (essentially an encrypted folder) on macOS for safekeeping.
