It has been nearly 8 years since this was last requested.

It allows you to securely transmit a string of text from one device to another over encrypted Bluetooth into the receiving device as if it is a USB keyboard.

Keepass2Android has had integration for about a year. https://github.com/inputstick/KP2APlugin

This is a fantastic device that makes logging into multiple computers with long secure passwords much more manageable. It works ok, as is, however integrating it with 1Password opens another realm of ease, as it requires multiple steps without integration, including storing the password on the local clipboard.

It is also great for pasting data into fields that you otherwise could not, such as entering lots of BitLocker codes into during the Microsoft CrowdStrike incident.

Please look into integrating this with 1Password. Thank you.

I should have included a link to the device in the previous post.

Device can be password-protected, supports AES-128 encryption
Plug InputStick into USB port and in few seconds it's ready to work, no need to install any drivers

  • Hello @2cents! 👋

Thank you for the request! That device looks useful and you're right that it could be a great help in cases like the CrowdStrike incident where multiple machines have to be restored using a recovery code.

I'm not a developer myself so I'm not familiar with whether this device's security and API are compatible with 1Password's security model but I've filed a feature request with the product team internally to have them look into this further.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. 🙂
