Collapsing tags and the ability to enter a vault in desktop client
In old versions of 1password i remember double clicking a vault and only categories, tags and items of only the selected vault would be shown. Like it is in the web version now.
This would be really helpful if you have a lot of vaults. At the moment i have to scroll a lot before i even reach the tags.
And then it show the tags of all vaults, which means i have to scroll a lot again.
In earlier versions i could at least collapse the tags, so navigating was a bit easier/clearer.
So to improve usability, i would wish to have the ability to enter vaults and have the displayed items, tags and categories scoped to this vault.
And also the ability to collapse tags again.

Do you have vaults shown in the sidebar?
1Password > Preferences (Settings) > Appearance --- Categories, Tags
To scope the above to a specific vault you can likely achieve this with a collection.

@ag_tommy Hmm yes collections indeed help, even though i would argue from a usability standpoint the old way is superior. I'd say collections are a good additional feature, which i can use as a workaround for scoping.
But this still leaves a cluttered view of tags without the ability to collapse them. In one of our vaults i have to scroll the equivalent of 7 screen heights to go through all the tags.

Thank you for the feedback. I've filed a feature request on your behalf to have the team look into bringing collapsable tags to 1Password 8. Thanks for letting us know how 1Password can be improved for your workflow.
Let me know if there's anything else that I can help you with for now.
