I am using 1Password version 8.1.36 and have recently installed Arc Browser, which uses Chromium, on my Mac (Sonoma 14.5). I would like to use an extension like the ones I use with Safari and Firefox. I went to the Chrome Store and found three different items that seem to be extensions for 1Password but I don't know which one to use.

Does anyone know what these three extensions are? And which one I should use?

1Password Version: 8.1.36
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Sonoma 14.5
Browser: Arc 1.52.0

    Hello @EllenH! 👋

Thank you for the question! You can install the stable version of 1Password in the browser using this link:

I recommend the stable version for most users since it's been tested thoroughly and is less likely to contain issues.

If you'd like to get the latest features and bug fixes faster then there are two other versions available:

    • The beta version: This is a version where we test new bug fixes and new features before they are included in the stable version. This version goes through Quality Assurance (QA) testing before release like the stable version does.
    • The nightly version: This is the cutting edge and contains the latest features and changes but can be prone to more bugs. It does not go through QA testing before release.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you. I installed the beta version. To have the best of both worlds. Stable enough, with less bugs and more features.
