Unlocking on Windows 11 using Edge browser extension has black unlock screen

seems similiar to a closed discussion.

I tried those steps (as best I could: I have Edge, not chrome). However, whenever I have to unlock 1password on the browser, the unlock screen pops up, but is blank. I have to open the app and apply the password there, which then unlocks correctly. It's more of an inconvenience now, than an issue. I can't recall when it started behaving this way, but probably at least 1 month ago.

any ideas to troubleshoot this issue further?

1Password Version: 8.10.36
Extension Version: 2.26.1
OS Version: Win1123H2
Browser: Edge 127.0.2651.74

    Hello @rkearney! 👋

I'm sorry that you're running into a blank window when unlocking 1Password in Microsoft Edge. It sounds like you might be running into a known issue that our development team is currently working on. Can you try the following to see if it improves the situation:

    1. Open and unlock 1Password 8.
    2. In the top left, click ⋮ > Settings > Advanced.
    3. Uncheck the option to Use Hardware Acceleration.
    4. Fully quit and restart the app with Ctrl + Q or by right clicking the icon in the system tray > Quit.
    5. Relaunch 1Password and test whether you can still reproduce the black window.

I look forward to hearing from you.
