macOS Sequoia Beta 1 and latest Nightly Build 1P
Hi Team,
I clean installed the latest macOS Sequoia Beta 1 on my MacBook Air M2. I proceeded to install all my apps including 1P. Problem is that 1P "kinda" installed. If you go to "System Settings - General - AutoFill & Passwords", 1P can't be found anywhere? The same goes for the Safari plug-in. It's there but not? Doesn't give you the option to choose what password program you want to use like it always did. And this is only now after the fresh install? Only Apple's "Passwords" thing pops up everywhere?!
I've uninstalled it. Deleted everything. Reinstalled and again uninstalled with the latest release and the latest nightly. I even adjusted my Security settings in the Security manager when you boot up. No joy. I've uninstalled until I can get it back into the System Settings.
P.S
iOS 18 Beta 5 with Safari and nightly builds work fine btw
1Password Version: Latest nightly

Hello @gedry! 👋
Thank you for reaching out. 1Password doesn't use the "Autofill & Passwords" feature in macOS System Settings so you won't see it listed there. Instead you can fill and save logins using either 1Password in the browser (our browser extension) or using Universal Autofill:
If you don't see 1Password in Safari then try the steps in this article: If you don't see the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar
Let me know if that doesn't work. 🙂

I've been an avid user for like over 10 years now. And recommend it to everyone. Think I need to touch up on some of the basics again thank you.
Call me crazy but somewhere there was a place where you could select the Mac to use 1P instead of something else? Anyway, thank you 😊0 -
P.S.
The Safari Beta fixed those errors.0 -
Thank you for the reply. You might be thinking of turning off Safari's built-in password manager so that you only use 1Password: Turn off the built-in password manager in your browser
The Safari Beta fixed those errors.
I'm happy to hear that the beta version resolved the errors. Let me know if you run into any other issues. 🙂
