To the 1Password management and Support staff: Why won't you enable 1Password for Safari on Macs running OS10.15? I have had a PAID subscription with 1Password for Macs for more than a decade, and find that I cannot use it on my primary Macbook Pro running OS 10.15 with 1Password 8.10.36. With the subscription I pay annually I should have access via the OEM browser on the newest OS this Mac can run without having to load 1Password 7 on it, which creates a duplicate 1Password app on the Mac, creating all kinds of usability problems. And I refuse to remove version 8 in favor of version 7 since I have paid to use the latest 1PW features.

1Password Version: 8.10.36
Extension Version: 7?
OS Version: 10.15.
Browser: Safari

    Hello @watsontcbc! 👋

Thanks for reaching out. 1Password for Safari requires Safari 16 or later on macOS Big Sur 11 or later and you won't be able to use the modern extension with macOS Catalina and earlier versions of Safari: System requirements for 1Password

macOS Catalina hasn't been updated for over two years and is missing several important security updates (and modern features that extensions such as 1Password for Safari require) and I would recommend looking into upgrading.

If you're unable to upgrade your Mac, and I know that it isn't always possible, then you may still be able to fill your passwords using Universal Autofill. If Universal Autofill doesn't work, and you're unable to upgrade your Mac, then using a different browser like Chrome or Firefox that does support the latest version of 1Password in the browser would be the best option. I don't recommend using 1Password 7 anymore since it's no longer supported.

I'm sorry that I don't have a better answer. Let me know if you have any questions.
