Using Safari 17.6 and 1Password 8.10.38. On a MacBookAir with Sonoma 14.6.1 Two issues...first when I go to the 1Password site the screen flickers and then shows Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information).
Second I am unable to use 1Password with Safari. The 1Password extention ver 2.27.1 appears to not be working. And it is turned on.

  • Hello @kd5fex! 👋

I'm sorry that you're running into an error message when accessing 1Password.com. Are you able to provide me with the exact webpage that you're trying to open? And can you reproduce the issue in a Private window: Browse privately in Safari on Mac - Apple Support (CA)

Second I am unable to use 1Password with Safari. The 1Password extention ver 2.27.1 appears to not be working. And it is turned on.

Can you tell me a little more about the issue? Are you seeing an errorr message? Or do you not see 1Password in Safari at all? Do the steps in this article help: If you don't see the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar

Thanks for the reply. Can you reproduce the issue using a Private window: Browse privately in Safari on Mac - Apple Support (CA)

If you can't then try clearing Safari's cache/history: Clear your browsing history in Safari on Mac - Apple Support (CA)

Let me know if that doesn't work or if you see the same issue in a Private window.

It appears to be an issue when I have Enable Java Script turned on in Safari. I turn it off...and the web page loads correctly. Which is strange.

  • @kd5fex

Have you tried a Private window and clearing Safari's cache as suggested in my previous reply?
