1PassWord app will not unlock with password on iPhone

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 17.6.1, last updated the 1Password app on 8/8/2024 to version 8.10.38. Not sure if I have restarted the phone since the update to 8.10.38. Received my every 2 week re-authenticate notice at the 1Password prompt. Will not accept the password. Phone vibrates and does not leave the login field. I have not changed the password. The password works on a desktop. I tried restarting the iPhone, still can't open the App. Have not found anything else not working. Suggestions please.

  • Hello @ChadM! 👋

I'm sorry that you're unable to unlock the 1Password app on your iPhone. So that I can better understand the situation can you tell me the following:

    1. If you reveal your account password in the 1Password for iOS app before submitting, is it the correct password?
    2. Are you able to log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com in Safari on your iPhone?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for answering those questions. So that I can investigate further, and find a solution, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your iOS device:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (iOS)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.

    With your email please include:

    Please send the entire file.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here. Thanks very much!

Would it be simpler to reinstall or is likely that would not fix the issue?

It's possible that it might but a diagnostics report would allow the team and I to advise you on next steps more confidently. I don't want to provide suggestions that might not work. 🙂
