Blank Screen after finger print Google Pixel
Since updating to the latest security patch of Android 14 (5th August 2024) - tapping on 1Password and smashing my thumb on the finger print to unlock it, I'm presented with a blank (black -coz dark mode) screen.
If I leave it there it eventually says app is unresponsive would you like to wait or kill it.
It left me stranded today because I couldn't retrieve a password and its the first time its made me question the reliability of 1Password
What can I provide to get this fixed asap? or what can yous do to get this fixed asap - I do believe 1Passwrod 7 app is still reliable - do i need to switch back?
I know this is the Android section of the forum, but the reliability of the Windows application is going down the pan too, constant crashes on start up now (and its a well specced computer - no potatoes here)

I'm sorry that you're unable to unlock 1Password on your Android device using your fingerprint. If you unlock 1Password using your account password, not your fingerprint, then does the same issue occur?
Can you also confirm that you're using 1Password for Android 8.10.38?

Hi, i'm having the same problem. I'm on a pixel 7, last android update, and app version 8.10.38. Strangely enough, it "opens fine" when through the autofill dropdown menu on forms, but when opening the app directly, it hangs. Doesn't work after unlocking either with fingerprint or typing the password. Clearing cache/storage didn't help.

Our development team has fixed some issues that led the 1Password app to crash and we're testing those fixes in the latest beta version.
Would you be willing to install the beta version to see if you're able to open that: Use 1Password beta releases

Actually i tried reinstalling (with a reboot) and its working so far.
