Suggestion — 1Password's Own Email Alias
With the release and rapid development of Proton Pass.
I believe that 1Password should innovate and have its own email alias service.
Currently, the only option for 1Password is to get Fastmaill, but the combined cost is too high to run a password manager with an email alias service.
Annual Plan Cost:
A. 1Password + Fastmail = $95.88
$35.88 for 1Password
$60 for Fastmail
Fastmail is twice the cost of 1Password if the user's only requirement is to be able to use an email alias service. The cost is unjustified if the user doesn't care about Fastmail's mail services.
B. Proton Pass = $23.88
It already includes both a password manager and an email alias.
In summary:
- 1Password's value proposition regarding a password manager with email alias service is not good compared to Proton Pass. Hence, 1Password building its email alias service bundled with 1Password premium plans would be a better business plan.
- Preferably the same price or a slight increase in current pricing.

Hello @E29037CB! 👋
Thank you for the suggestion! I can see how it would be useful to have a built-in email alias service for folks who don't also subscribe to Fastmail. While I can't make any promises, I've filed a feature request on your behalf and the Product team will consider adding such a feature in the future.
Thank you for helping us make 1Password better.

I have no reason to signup with Fastmail and give them $36 a year just to be able to use 1Password Email integration for the sake of creating email aliases. As a paid 1Password user, this service should not force me to pay additional yearly premiums to a 3rd party service. For now, I signed up for a free account with Simplelogin that solves the problem. But, if you're providing email aliases with a 1Password, it should not come with an additional cost. Thank you.
