Sharing One-time view items... the recipient can save it forever?!

I recently have been using 1password to share credit card info with trusted vendors and using the "view 1 time" feature. In my opinion, theres not a big difference between giving them the info over the phone where they have to write it down versus them viewing it this way.

However, I just clicked the link myself and am seeing the prompt for the user to download 1password if they would like to save the item for themselves!

Is that the case? If I share an item with someone, that actually creates an invitation for them to save my information in their account if they so choose?!
