MrC-Converter-Suite - Stuck on Step 2-Convert while trying to convert a Kapersky PW manager txt file
I am using mrc-converter-suite and getting stuck on step 2 when I'm trying to use the command prompt for cd %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\mrc-converter-suite. I just got a message that says "The system cannot find the path specified". I've read in other posts there may be an issue if you're using OneDrive, which I am. My Desktop is located in the OneDrive folder. I have not joined or installed 1Password yet, but that is my plan once I figure out how to convert the Kapersky PW manager's txt file to something 1Password will take. I still have Kapersky on my system and not sure it would even allow me to download a different password manager. I have an uninstall file Kapersky sent me that will be used as soon as I figure this out. I was afraid to uninstall prior to this and lose all my passwords.
Please help!!

Ok...I think I was able to solve it. I found another post here from Victoria1029 in April, who shared a screenshot of her struggling thru the first command. I could see they were also using OneDrive. I recognized that since the command shell window was pulling up with C:\Users(my user name)> I couldn't use the command given in the directions for MrC, as it wouldn't provide the correct path to where the file was stored on my desktop, which was under the OneDrive file. I also recognized that Victoria1029 found a work around after a few failed attempts, which was the following
C:\Users(my user name)>cd C:\Users\music\OneDrive\Desktop\mrc-converter-suite
which then gave way to the next prompt starting withC:\Users(my user name)\OneDrive\Desktop\mrc-converter-suite>
without the original command shell window prompt of C:\Users(my user name)> in front!I was able to run all the other prompts in the directions to property convert my .txt file to a .1pux file! I think....I uploaded a screenshot of the final display. It says something about an MCS utilities package or file that was missing?? I don't know, I just know I got the converted file and shared a summary of the exported items?
Now I think the only test left is to see if I can import this file into 1Password after I install it, and if it will show all of my data correctly. Fingers crossed!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to Victoria1029!!! and the many other post I went thru here to help me find it this far! I'll try to update once all is said and done.

Good news that you discovered how to adjust the directions for your home folder being on OneDrive. I'll see if I can make this process and/or directions better. Windows seems insistent on moving users personal files / folders into their cloud, and this creates more issues than it solves. Shame on them.
Anyway, the error you are seeing is due to Strawberry Perl being updated / promoted to Perl version 5.40. I'll investigate and resolve the issue converter-wide and post an update.

I've updated the README for users whose Desktop is located on OneDrive. Here's the new text:
I've also corrected the issues with the warning message you encountered (this was caused by an update of Strawberry Perl to Perl verison 5.40). Here's a clean run.
I'm about to post the updated suite.
