Try to log into 1Password Android app, get asked for passkey?
A few days ago, when I tried using my 1Password Android app, it kept asking me about a passkey, saying there wasn't a passkey on this device. I hit OK, and it kept asking me.
I uninstalled the app, reinstalled, and tried to log back into 1Password. I enter my password, and it asks me for a passkey again?!
Is there some possibility my account got set up for passkeys? I didn't do that intentionally, if that's the case. How can I turn it off?
Thanks folks!

I am unable to login to the 1Password App on my new Pixel 9 pro XL phone. No mater the method (Scan Setup Code form another phone, signing on, entering account details from the emergency Kit). I get a "No passkeys available" message and am unable to proceed.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the 1Password app, but the problem persists.
Any suggestions on how to get past this, or is this a know bug?

Note: I was finally able to work around the issue by authenticating using NFC on my Yubikey. No other method, including connecting the Yubikey to the USB-C port, worked for me.

I had a similar problem with my new Pixel 9. The only solution that worked for me was to authenticate using my Yubikey via NFC.

Hello @adamwolf and @Mark808! 👋
I'm sorry that you're running into issues when signing in to your 1Password account with 1Password for Android. Our developers are aware of the situation and are currently testing a fix in the latest beta version of the app:
We’ve fixed an issue where you could get stuck in a passkey error loop if you had an unsuccessful sign in attempt using a security key.
If you're willing, you can install the beta version here: Get the 1Password apps
I'm glad that you were able to get things working, thanks for sharing that workaround with the community.
