I am using Opera browser extensions and desktop apps on Windows 11.

Ingegration status: Connection problem
is displayed, and I cannot link with the desktop app.

The extensions installed on the Opera browser are Chrome extensions.
On Chrome, Firefox, etc., extensions and desktop apps work together without any problems.

Is there any way to solve this problem?

1Password Version: 8.10.46
Extension Version: 8.10.46.6
OS Version: Windows11
Browser: Opera

  • Hello @eggplant! 👋

Thank you for reaching out. Opera isn't a supported browser for 1Password which means that integration between the 1Password desktop app and the browser extension won't work.

On the Mac, we recently released a custom trusted browsers feature which allows you to add any browser with a valid code signature to 1Password for Mac. The team is hoping to bring this feature to Windows in the future but it's not available currently.

For the moment, if you'd like to have 1Password in your browser share a lock state with the desktop app so that it can use features like Windows Hello, you can switch to one of our supported browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Microsoft Edge.

Let me know if you have any questions.
