Chrome extension doesn't work

in 1Password in the Browser

Suddenly, I can't get the Chrome browser to work. It keeps asking for my Master PW and rejects it when I enter it. The PW works on the IOS. Mac desktop app, and on Safari. I tried restarting computer, erasing all cookies, and reloading extension. This is frustrating. Any help appreciated.

    Hello @sledgehammer842! 👋

    I'm sorry that you're unable to unlock 1Password in the browser. As a first step, try the following:

    1. Close all open web browsers.
    2. Right-click on the 1Password icon at the top of your Mac's screen and then click Quit. Wait until the icon disappears.
    3. Double-click on 1Password from your Mac's Applications folder.
    4. Open your web browser and try to unlock 1Password in the browser again.

    If that doesn't work then are you able to log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)?
