Is it possible to disable the 1p tooltip that appears in input boxes in the browser? I never use it, preferring to use the keyboard shortcuts, and I find it's often in the way or appears in contexts where it's unnecessary.

Is there a way to disable the 1p tooltip that shows up in input fields in the browser—without disabling the whole browser extension? I find I never use the tooltip (preferring the keyboard shortcuts) and that it often gets in the way.

Are you referring to hide on this page?

    1. Right-click on the page, select 1Password > (select the option) Hide on this page.

    To disable the feature:

    1. Repeat the steps above and deselect Hide on this page.
      -or-
    2. Quit your browser fully.

The feature is not sticky. If you restart or fully quit the browser you'll have to repeat the hide process again.

I want to hide it everywhere, on all pages, not on a particular page.

  • @aworkinglibrary,

Thank you for your reply. Here's how you can turn off the 1Password extension Inline menu:

    1. Open your browser.
    2. Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and select Settings.
    3. In the Autofill & save section, toggle off Offer to fill and save passwords.

    I hope that helps.
