Whenever I try to create a new web id or to login to an existing account, one item (Global Entry) from my vault pops up. How can I get rid of this?

  • Hello, @GIGAmacro. Thank you for reaching out.

1Password in the browser can offer suggestions for your Identity items for fields with the proper labels. There isn't a way to turn off suggestions specifically for Identity items without removing the entry from your vault or turning off all Autofill suggestions.

You can temporarily turn off all suggestions on a specific webpage by right-clicking the field, selecting 1Password - Password Manager and clicking Hide on this page. It is a temporary solution and requires you to re-do the steps after every browser restart.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

I didn't explain well enough. It's always that card (on all websites) and it has no connection to any website (it's an id for global entry).

  • @GIGAmacro,

Thank you for the clarification. The Global Entry ID was created as an Identity item. Identity items appear as suggestions in name, email, or address fields. Here's more information on 1Password item categories.

Alternatively, you can create a Secure Note item, copy the Global Entry ID there, and remove the Identity item.

    I hope that helps.
