Sign in with a passkey - Auto Accept
For sites which have a passkey you are prompted with "Sign in with a passkey".
You have to click "Sign in".
Is there a way to automatically "Sign in"? I get this prompt maybe 10 times a day at work.
The extension knows there's a passkey, going one more step and accepting it would be so helpful.
I'm using Ubuntu, but this is similar for Windows, Chrome etc.
1Password Version: 8.10.44
Extension Version: 8.10.44.34
OS Version: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
Browser: Firefox

Hello @Druke8! 👋
Thank you for reaching out. Signing in with a passkey requires that you first confirm the sign in for two big reasons:
- It allows you to choose which passkey to use in a situation where you might have multiple accounts for the same website.
- Without user confirmation it would be possible for a website to trigger an automatic login without your consent. This can pose privacy and security implications for websites that you might want to temporarily browse anonymously without logging in right away.
Once you see the passkey prompt from 1Password you can press Enter on your keyboard to sign in rather than having to click on the button using your mouse. 🙂

Hi Dave,
That makes sense. I have seen the selection for multiple passkeys too.
Hitting 'enter' works well, I'll go with that.
Thanks
