User-dependent favourites

Since it feels like all discussions on this topic have been closed in the past 6 years (without any plausible, comprehensible explanation), I'm opening a new one.

Problem:
Favourites are organisation-related and not user-related. This makes absolutely no sense, as HR or Marketing, for example, have completely different favourites than, for example, Technicians or the SOC.

Solution:
Implement favourites at user level instead of organisation level

or let me put it another way: .... you don't have to eat pizza hawaii just because it's your flatmate's favourite pizza, do you?

  • Hello @1psidctm! 👋

Thanks for following up! I see that my colleague previously filed a feature request on your behalf with the team, that request is still open and I don't have any updates to share at the moment. I've made a note internally that this is still something that you'd like to see changed in how 1Password's favourites work.

Old discussions are closed automatically by the system once there hasn't been any new activity for some time. This is to keep the forum clean and focused on the current state/version of 1Password. The feature request that was filed on your behalf internally remains open even if the discussion thread closes. You're always welcome to open a new thread (like this) if you'd like an update or to continue the conversation from an old thread that was closed. 🙂

So the way to regularly write something pointless is to keep the topic open?

  • @1psidctm

Even if a particular forum discussion closes due to inactivity, the feature request that is filed with the team remains open. Keeping the forum discussion open won't change the status or priority of the feature request. 🙂
