Item history in the desktop app
Item history is completely missing in the newest interface and I almost lost access to an important account because of this. Now I was lucky that I could still access this and get my old password from the website version using the old interface, because it's also missing in the new website interface.
It's a very crucial feature in terms of information protection, will this come back?
Edit: There's a last edited timestamp mark at the bottom of an item, but it has no further functionality? Furthermore I've read online that the password down arrow is supposed to show older versions and be the substitute for the rollback feature? If so, it doesn't work me, it doesn't show older edits.

Hello @GinoM! 👋
Thank you for reaching out. You should see item history on 1Password.com: View and restore previous versions of items
When you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app) you can click on the date at the bottom of an item to expand it and see an option to View previous versions:
Let me know if you don't see that.

Thanks for your super fast reply,
Yes it shows in the browser indeed!
Will this also be integrated in the apps later? Because it can be impractical having to use the browser.
I don't think every user even knows there's a browser version, I personally did for some reason, I'm a very long time user.
Thanks again!

We're currently testing item history in the latest beta versions of the 1Password for Mac desktop app:
You can now view item history and restore previous versions of items in the desktop apps.
If testing goes well in the beta then the team hopes to release the feature to the stable version of the desktop app as soon as possible. 🙂
