Keyboard Shortcut Cmd+Shift+X Not Working on Brave (Mac)
This stopped working recently (I think with the new update). Was working without issue before. I've tried restarting the browser, updating browser, uninstalling and reinstalling the extension, changing the keyboard shortcut through the browser with no improvement. It will work when I'm on the keyboard shortcuts page in Brave but it does not work on any other sites.
The shortcut on the desktop and Safari browser extension work along with the Firefox browser. Already looked through the forum and online without much help. Thanks.

I'm sorry that the Shift-Command-X shortcut isn't working in Brave. I can't reproduce the issue here on my end, can you confirm that you're using the following versions:
- 1Password in the browser: 8.10.44.34
- Brave: Version 1.69.168 Chromium: 128.0.6613.138
Can you also check to see if you see the following when you navigate to this page:
brave://extensions/shortcuts

Yes I am using both of those versions. I'm attaching 2 screenshots from my system.

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the time you took to share the screenshots. In the first image, the shortcuts don't appear to be set for the extension. Here's a screenshot for reference:
On Chromium browsers, if you clear the shortcut and refresh the brave://extensions/shortcuts page, the shortcut reappears but is not set.
Does the shortcut appear in the 1Password extension settings as shown in the above screenshot if you navigate to the extensions shortcut page, click the pencil icon for "Activate the extension" and re-add the same shortcut keys to ( CMD⌘ + Shift⇧ + X )?

Hey Evon,
Unfortunately it doesn't appear on the extension for some reason. I've tried clearing and putting it back in the Brave keyboard shortcuts without any change in the 1Password extension. Weird thing is when I am in the Brave keyboard shortcuts and use the Shift+Cmd+X shortcut it opens the 1PW extension. But as soon as I open a new tab it doens't work anymore. Not really sure what to do with this

That is strange behaviour. I'm sorry that didn't work. Have you tried changing the shortcut to different keys like ( CMD⌘ + Shift⇧ + 1 )? Does this problem occur if you set a keyboard shortcut to Lock the extension?
Could you reinstall the 1Password browser extension and test the behaviour again? Make sure you have a copy of your Emergency Kit or another device signed in to 1Password, and know your account password before you start.

I fixed it. Looks like I had 1PW7 installed for the desktop client and that wasn't communicating with the 1PW8 browser extension. Thanks for all your help!
