Why can I not use 1Password on an iPhone to approve family requests?

I am using an iPhone 11 running iOS 17.6.1. I use 1Passwird to store and generate passwords and it works very well and integrates well with Apple.

However when I receive a request for an app from one of my children via Family sharing, I get this screen . Here there is NO opportunity to open or access 1Password. So what am I supposed to do?

Is there a way to ensure 1Password is always available?

    Hello @sjkiss! 👋

Thank you for the question! On your iPhone 1Password relies on an Apple technology known as iOS Password AutoFill for filling and AutoFill doesn't allow us to fill into certain system prompts that prompt for your Apple ID.

If you don't see the "Passwords" prompt appear above your keyboard when you tap on the password field in the prompt in your screenshot then this isn't something that 1Password can change and is an issue common to all password managers on iOS. You can copy and paste your password from the 1Password app on your iOS device into the AppleID prompt: Copy and fill passwords into apps that don't work with 1Password

Hopefully the situation is improved in future versions of iOS. Let me know if you have any questions.
