    Hi!
I Installed 1Password for Mac version 8.10.44, and after importing content which included tags, I experienced the exactly same issue as described in this thread.
As version 8.10.44 is substantially newer than 8.10.28 in which you report this issue as fixed, I decided to inform you that it still appears to exist.
Also the workaround "Turn off "Tags" under Always Show in Sidebar." helped to get the application responding (allow adding of new items)

    Hello @JanneL! 👋

I'm sorry that the 1Password for Mac app stopped responding after until you turned off tags in the sidebar. If you turn the tags back on then do you see the same issue? If you do then, so that I can investigate this further, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.

    With your email please include:

    Please send the entire file.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here. Thanks very much!

    Hi Dave!
If you read the above more carefully, the issue I experienced was not that it stopped responding (unable to add new items etc, just as described above), after turning off tags in the sidebar.
The issue was the same as the original poster had experienced and the workaround to get the application responding again was to turn off the tags in the sidebar.

Sorry, that was a typo. I've corrected my post. 🙂

The issue from back in March was fixed in a previous version of 1Password so we'll need to investigate what's happening on your Mac further. Even if the symptoms are similar, the underlying cause could be different. If you turn tags in the sidebar back on then does the issue return?
