Connecting to Wi-Fi using Facebook on iOS
Hey,
I've just returned from a trip to Italy and some hotels, and places I visited had free wi-fi but they required me to sign in to access them.
When you tap the network name you get the connection window that pops up with various ways. I typically choose Facebook or Google, not because I like them, but because on a phone it's easier than filling in a massive form.
If I choose Facebook I then need to authenticate. I tap it and can use my Facebook 1PW item to fill in but then I get the 2FA code screen, the 1PW window is either 1. Not even accessible, or 2. Accessible but Facebook is not available and you can't search for it.
If you go Home and go and get the code manually, you've quit the entire flow and have to start again, by which time the 2FA code is no longer valid.
I had to skip using Wi-Fi due to this.
How can these scenarios be fixed?

Hello @rctneil! 👋
I'm sorry that you ran into trouble when signing into Facebook to use hotel WiFi. You can have 1Password automatically copy your one-time password for an app or website to the clipboard so that you can paste it into the app when filling your login information:
- Open and unlock 1Password 8.
- Tap the icon for your account or collection at the top left and choose Settings.
- Tap AutoFill.
- Turn on "Copy One-Time Passwords".
- Go back to Settings.
- Tap Notifications.
- Turn on "One-Time Passwords".
Then fill your username/password for Facebook/Google into the prompt again. You should see a notification that 1Password has copied the one-time password to your clipboard. You can then paste the one-time password into the prompt: Select, cut, copy, and paste text on iPhone - Apple Support (CA)
Let me know if that doesn't work for you. 🙂
