Where did my new password go?
Hi
I've just used the 1Password suggested password for a new account. The little popup box appeared, very briefly, that looked like it was saving the entry but it is not there in 1Password.
I have received a welcome to your account email from the vendor so it must have populated the password field.
Now I cannot log back into the account without forgetting the password.
What happened, did I do something wrong?

Hello @iwaddo! 👋
I'm sorry that you're having trouble finding the generated password. Are you able to share the website where you've run into this issue so that I can take a look?
Regarding the password itself try the following:
- Open your browser.
- Click on the 1Password icon in the browser's toolbar.
- Click the menu icon and then Password Generator.
- Click Password Generator History.
Do you see the password there?

Hi, yes, the password is there in the history, at least I can create the login entry manually. Who even knew there was a history - I keep learning :-)
It was not a simple website login. I had done an insurance quote at lv.com. At the beginning of the quote I provided an email address, at the end I opted to save my quote so it asked for a password which is where 1Password comes in.
I have created the login entry in 1Password for lv.com and it works if I try and login to receive my quote.
I am up and running now so not sure there is anything to fix.
Thank you for your help.

@ag_tommy Hi, I'm not sure your last comment on this thread was actually for this thread ;-)
However, it has happened again. I've just tried to create an account, the 1Password box popped-up and disappeared immediately, I'm sure it usually lets me change the name.
There is a password in the history but no login entry created.
I've created in manually for now but was not expecting it to happen again.
Thank you for your help.

It was. :) Some merging and splitting has occurred. So it looks disjointed.
