I have a related feature request: Can you provide an option to change the format used to display the date? My computer is set to day-month-year, but 1password will only display dates using 2 digits for all three. So if the expiration date for something is 30 Sept 2024, then it's pretty obvious what 30-09-24 means since we only have 12 months. However, 01 Oct 2024 being displayed as 01-10-24 can be very confusing, especially 1password only allows dates to be entered as mm-dd-yy even if the saved version displays as dd-mm-yy. It would be most helpful to have an option to match Windows, which already uses 01-Oct-24 as the short date, or simply specify that dates appear as dd-mmm-yy under the per account display settings. Thanks!

  • Hello @dmveron! 👋

I'm sorry that the date format isn't being accurately reflected in 1Password 8. This is a known issue that our development team is looking into and I've added your report to the internal work item for the issue. 1Password should respect the system date format and hopefully this bug will be resolved in a future update.

Let me know if you have any questions. 🙂

I appreciate the update. Another bug I have found is that on web form fields that want DOB in mm/dd/yy, The paste from 1password's "identity" type record either flip-flops mm and dd or does a literal paste from the display value. For example, if the DOB is 10 July 2020, and 1password displays the saved date as 10-07-20, and the web form wants mm/dd/yy, 1password will paste the DOB as 10/07/20, which is not correct. Let me know if that's not clear. Thanks!

Thanks for the reporting this issue as well. Are you able to link to a web page where you've encountered this issue so that I can forward this to our development team?

I can't remember the original example, but I just ran into the same issue again at https://www.usaa.com/my/profile?wa_ref=pri_auth_persinfo_updateinfo_icon for someone with a DOB of January 31 19XX.
