[Feature request (2018-bump)] Show number of matched logins on the 1P browser icon
Coming from Lastpass here, so far so good, but It feels like LastPass was much more features-packed than 1P. Is there any version meant for more advanced users ?
Whenever I browse a website, 1P won't tell me if I have a matching entry on that domain, so I always have to remember if I have an account with it or not because neither the 1P browser exention's toolbar nor the desktop (windows)'s icons is telling.
Worse, once I click the 1P manager to validate, 1P won't list the current domain's matching entries, so I have to search for it manually with the 1P search bar every time.
I haven't digg much deep into 1P yet, but I couldn't find any front-end setting to enable such a feature or behaviour. Only workaround I found to this is to leave my lastpass extension open so it can provide me that information on the fly.
1Password Version: 1Password for Windows 8.10.45
Extension Version: 81044034, STABLE channel
OS Version: 19045.4894
Browser: FF 130.0.1 (64-bit)

Hello @pWishh. Thank you for writing in. I'm sorry about the problem you're running into with 1Password.
The 1Password extension in your browser should suggest your Login items on websites. If you are interested, here's more information on saving and filling passwords with 1Password: Save and fill passwords in your browser.
To confirm, does your Login item contain a website URL Here's a screenshot for reference:
I look forward to your reply.

No, as I mentioned, I'm refering to the 1P exention's toolbar icon, not a webpage's input field.
My request is the same as this one requested back in 2018.As you can see from screenshot, Lastpass extension is letting me knows that I have 4 matching (instagram.com) entries in it's vault while browsing instagram. 1Passwrd doesn't.
Clicking the 1P extension's toolbar button doesn't help neither, as it doesn't list any of those 4 instagram entries from my 1P vault, it just open my main vault's list and, let me use the search bar to finally reach those..
Lastpass on the other hand, not only show number of matching vault entries from current browsing domain, but once I click it's browser toolbar extension's button, will prepopulate those 4 matching vault entries without me having to manually search for them. matching entries are right there ready to take action on.

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the additional information. If your Login items contain the website URL, they should appear as suggestions when you open the 1Password extension pop-over. Can you check if 1Password in the browser is selected to open Suggestions first? Here's how:
- Open your browser.
- Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and select Settings.
- In the Appearance & shortcuts section, ensure Suggestions is selected beside the Open 1Password to option.
1Password in the browser does not show the number of suggestions on the icon in the toolbar. If this is something that you'd like to see added in the future, please let me know, and I'll be happy to share your feedback with our product team.

@EvonG1P
Thanks for the "Suggestions" option. Indeed, I mistakenly set it to "All".
solved, thanks. As for the display of number of matched entries within the browser extension's toolbar button, yes please make this an official and possibly priority request. This is a mandatory missing UX feature for which I currently have to rely on Lastpass.

I'm happy that Evon's suggestion helped.
Regarding the number of matched entries in the toolbar icon, while I can't make any promises I've filed a feature request on your behalf with the product team. They'll consider adding such a feature to 1Password in the future.
Only workaround I found to this is to leave my lastpass extension open so it can provide me that information on the fly.
A quick note about this: I don't recommend using two different password managers at the same time since they'll conflict with each other. Once you've migrated all of your items to 1Password, I recommend that you remove the Lastpass extension from your browser.
