Unable to Edit Permissions for Family Vault
Hello, Dear Community. I'm the administrator of my family's 1Password account. Myself, my wife and our teenager daughter are registered members of this account. I want to limit shared Family Vault for my daughter to "read only" so as she doesn't delete or alter any data accidentally. However I cannot edit any permissions for the vault. I'm trying to do it via website but it says, "This vault doesn’t have any permissions to edit". Please see screenshot. If I press the "Edit Details" button there is an option to change the vault name and picture, nothing else.
Can you help me please?

The default shared vault is special and cannot be modified, nor can the permissions be changed. All members of the family have equal access to this vault. If you're looking to change permissions, I would suggest creating a new vault.
We got creative and named the default share "Shared - Account Wide." That's because some of my Family extends beyond the home.
We created a new shared vault where I can change the permissions as needed. We named it "Shared - Household" for things just between the immediate Family in the home. This is where I shared the data and changed my permissions for my teens.

ag_tommy, thank you for swift reply. I was not aware that default shared vault has limitations which new vaults don't have. Honestly I don't see any logic within this fact but nevermind. I have created new vaults and distibuted permissions between them - almost the same as you have done. Great idea!
Moving all the items from the old vault to the new ones was a bit challenging because 1Password still doesn't have "Select all" feature. I had to select all of them one by one - this is one of the items for developers to think about. Nevertheless, thank you for your help!0 -

Install the desktop app and use the desktop app for item management. It's way more comfortable than the website and has much more features. If running, it will also integrate with the browser extension, so you need to enter your password only once at computer login.
Also the upcoming new website has a select all feature. You're offered to switch to the new view (if this isn't the default already). To select all items, select the first item in the list, then shift-leftclick on the last item in the list to multiselect.
